LEGAL ASSISTANCE & SAFETY
The office of the Public Guardian for Elderly Adults makes legal, financial and healthcare decision for individuals aged 60 and older who have been determined by a Superior Court judge to be incapacitated. The office also administers the Adult Protective Services Program.
Senior citizens - individuals 60 and over - are targeted more frequently by financial fraud and scams than any other age group.
